PAUL WALLACE – Braveheart Pinot Noir 2017

This delicious Paul Wallace 2017 Pinot Noir was given the name “Braveheart” as a play on the grapes nickname of being known as the “heart break” grape and as a testament to William Wallace, a man of bravery, heart and principle who shares the same surname. This Pinot Noir I made from various slopes and soils found on the Wallace Farm which brings complexity to the wine. In the glass it presents a light ruby red color with bursts of fresh primary fruits of sour red cherry and strawberries. Then balanced out with subtle making in a mix of new and old French Oak barrels. Gorgeous when slightly chilled on a hot summer and can also be enjoyed in the winter months next to a fire.
