LOTHIAN – Pinot Noir 2017

A wine of quality and a Pinot Noir that reflects both the gentle winemaking techniques and the terroir of Elgin. Pinot Noir being known as the “heartbreak grape” due its delicate nature, it requires gentle handling which is exactly the case with this.

On the nose a sweet spice of cinnamon and star anise with hints of dark cherries coming through. A silky palate with soft tannins (thanks to the gentle handling of the grapes). 11 months in French Oak, 20% new. Pairs well with Bolognaise.

Alcohol: 13,5%
